A Blanket for Bella

Baby Bella arrived on Monday and she is the cutest little thing in the world! Fortunately, I finished her quilt in time!

This is the first time I did a 2" binding and I actually prefer it! It was much easier to keep it nice and flat, especially when hand stitching the corners. I also experimented with a corner label and it is so stinkin' cute (at least I think so). I like the idea that it's sewn into the binding so there's no risk of it falling apart over time.

Yep, gave myself a nickname...because I'm awesome.
